Integrated Security Solutions

Integrate multiple security sub-systems for a complete multi level security solution. While we provide some integration examples below, please note that this is not a comprehensive list of our integrated security systems solutions. Contact us to find out about specific integrations to suit your requirements.

Facial Recognition & Access Control

Integriti Version 21 allows the integration of Suprema’s contactless biometric terminals into its access control system, allowing secure entry to a facility using a facial recognition camera system. Biometric credentials can be added directly into Integriti’s software, which instantly updates the Suprema databases in the biometric access control terminals. This integration streamlines data management, now only requiring one software package for user management.

Health Club Software Integration

We offer commercial security integration services to a wide range of health club user management softwares including Clubware, GymMaster, and Mindbody. This allows new gym members to be enrolled into the access control system automatically when they are setup as a member in the club software

Avigilon & Halo IOT Smart Sensor

The HALO IOT Smart Sensor is a multi-sensor capable of detecting vape, smoke, THC, temperature changes, and abnormal sounds like shouting in areas a camera cannot be placed. The Avigilon Control Center (ACC) system integration with the HALO IOT Smart Sensor allows users to view and search for sensor detection events in ACC.

Integrated Security Frequently Asked Questions

What is integrated security?

Integrated security refers to the concept of combining and harmonising various security sub-systems, technologies, and processes into a unified and cohesive solution.

Integrated solutions involve the seamless integration of various security components, such as access control systems, video security systems, intrusion detection systems, fire alarms, and other related systems, to work together synergistically.

What are the benefits of integrated security systems?

Integrated security systems offer several benefits for businesses seeking comprehensive and efficient security solutions. Here are some key advantages of commercial integrated security solutions include:

  • Enhanced Situational Awareness: Integrated solutions allow for the consolidation of data from multiple security systems into a centralised management platform. This provides a holistic view of the security environment, enabling operators to have real-time situational awareness and make informed decisions based on a complete picture of the security landscape.
  • Improved Incident Detection and Response: Integrated security systems enable the correlation and analysis of data from various security components. This enhances the ability to detect and respond to security incidents promptly. Events and alarms from different subsystems can be automatically linked and prioritised, enabling faster response times and minimising the risk of human error.
  • Streamlined Operations and Efficiency: Integrated security solutions eliminate the need for managing multiple standalone systems separately. This results in streamlined operations, reduced complexity, and improved efficiency. Operators can access and control various security functions from a single interface, simplifying daily tasks, and optimising resource allocation.
  • Cost Savings: Investing in integrated solutions can lead to cost savings in the long run. By consolidating multiple systems, organisations can avoid duplication of infrastructure and eliminate the need for separate maintenance and support contracts. Additionally, integrated systems can automate certain processes, reducing the need for manual intervention and minimising staffing requirements.
  • Scalability and Flexibility: Integrated security solutions offer scalability to accommodate the evolving needs of organisations. As the security landscape changes or expands, additional subsystems can be seamlessly integrated into the existing infrastructure. The scalability of integrated solutions provides organisations with the flexibility to adapt their security systems to future requirements without significant disruption or costly replacements.
  • Centralised Management and Control: Integrated security systems provide centralised management and control capabilities. Administrators can monitor and manage various security subsystems from a single interface, simplifying system administration, user management, and configuration.

Advanced Analytics and Insights: Integrated security solutions can leverage advanced analytics, including artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, to extract valuable insights from the integrated data.

What components can be integrated in an integrated security system?

An integrated security system can encompass a wide range of components and subsystems, depending on the specific needs and requirements of an organisation. Some common components that can be integrated into a tailored security system include:

  • Access Control Systems: These systems regulate entry and exit to physical spaces, incorporating technologies such as keycards, biometrics, or proximity readers. Integration with other systems enables access control events to be correlated with video surveillance, alarm systems, and other security measures.
  • Video Security Systems: Video surveillance cameras and recording devices capture visual information to monitor and record activities in designated areas.
  • Intrusion Detection and Alarm Systems: Intrusion detection systems detect unauthorised entry or movement within a protected area, triggering alarms to alert security personnel.
  • Fire and Life Safety Systems: Fire alarms, smoke detectors, and emergency notification systems can be integrated into an integrated security system to provide early detection and rapid response to fire or life safety incidents.
  • Premises Security Systems: These systems include technologies like perimeter fencing, sensors, and surveillance cameras to detect and deter unauthorised access to the premises.
  • Incident Management and Response Systems: These systems provide a centralised platform for managing and responding to security incidents.
  • Command and Control Centres: Command and control centres serve as the nerve centre of an integrated security system, providing a centralised interface for monitoring, managing, and controlling all integrated security components.

Building Management Systems: Integration with building management systems allows for the coordination of security measures with other building operations, such as HVAC, lighting, and energy management.

Can integrated security systems be retrofitted into existing buildings?

Yes, integrated security systems can be retrofitted into existing buildings.

Retrofitting involves assessing the existing infrastructure, integrating compatible systems, and making necessary adjustments or upgrades to enable seamless integration.

However every case is different and it is best to evaluate the specific requirements of the building and its existing systems before proceeding with a retrofit. Factors such as the age and condition of the infrastructure, the desired level of security, and the budget allocated for the project should all be taken into consideration. It is advisable to consult with security professionals or commercial security systems integrators to determine the feasibility and optimal approach for retrofitting.

Are integrated security systems scalable?

Yes, integrated security systems are scalable, allowing organisations to adapt and expand their security infrastructure as their needs evolve. Scalability is a key advantage of integrated systems and offers flexibility for future growth.
