Ryalex Security has won a project to supply & install a Vix Vizion facial recognition camera system to a pub in Lidcombe, Sydney. The technology will be used to assist staff with the venue’s self-exclusion scheme. The project also consists of upgrading the camera and recording infrastructure onsite. Cameras will be installed to cover the entry points to the gaming areas, which are positioned to achieve the best possible view of a person’s face upon entry.
Staff will load photos of self-excluded patrons into the Vix Vizion database. When a self-excluded patron enters the gaming area, a notification will be sent to the shift managers mobile phone. The notification provides the manager the opportunity to confirm the persons identify and ensure compliance with the self-exclusion scheme.
The technology will provide the venue an accurate and reliable method for managing their self-exclusion scheme.
