Unusual Motion Detection is a video analytic that learns typical activity in a scene and then detect and log any unusual events. The operator is able to quickly search through hours of footage by focusing on atypical events that could require further investigation.
Without any predined rules, UMD technology continuosly learns what typical activity in a scene looks like, and flags anything out of the ordinary. Using Avigilon’s UMD, operators can filter through large amounts of recorded video faster, reducing the time required to find an incident.
